The first National Craft Championships was held in 1987 with only a handful of participants competing in four construction trades. Twenty years later, our competition has grown to become one of the construction industry's most recognized and revered craft skills events through the dedication and hard work of our member firms and ABC chapters.
The National Craft Championships is history marked with individual achievement - for its competitors as well as its instructors, corporate sponsors, project managers, judges and the numerous volunteers who lend a helping hand.
Over 400 construction trade apprentices and students have competed in this unique two-day event and have come full circle to nurture those who will follow in their footsteps this year.
